This is a seasoned, professional position that conducts research activities in developing and documenting a collection to provide administration and expertise in developing and planning projects in an area of specialization. Employees are responsible for overall collections or exhibition development, management, interpretation, and documentation in area of specialization. May also be responsible for the development, administration, and implementation of educational projects; grant writing; donor cultivation; research; writing; publishing; and evaluation.
In addition to those identified in the previous level: Skill in preserving and caring for historical artifacts, art objects, and natural history specimens. Ability to organize and develop exhibits.
Bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years of relevant experience. (Substitutions may be allowed.)
