This is a professional supervisory position accountable for overseeing the inspections, investigations, or audits in which employees may require professional licensure and experience in the professions or businesses regulated. At this level, employees may function as a programmatic, regional, or statewide supervisor. Employee supervision includes hire recommendations, training, planning and assigning work, performance assessment, coaching, and progressive discipline. Supervision at this level also requires these employees to have the knowledge and skills to perform the work overseen.
In addition to those identified in the previous levels: Knowledge of the principles and techniques of effective supervision and training. Ability to provide leadership and supervision to professional and technical staff.
Bachelor’s degree and 4-6 years of relevant experience. (Substitutions may be allowed.)
