An Engineering/Architectural Project Manager manages state projects in the fields of engineering and/or architecture. Responsible for project planning, which includes developing project plans and timelines. Identifies appropriate resources, oversees the project team’s activities, and is held accountable for developing project deliverables and measuring project outcomes. May also oversee the activities of external contractors. An employee in this position frequently interacts with state officials and other stakeholders.
Knowledge of the principles and concepts of engineering, architecture, and/or project management. Skill in critical thinking and problem solving. Ability to lead and communicate with project teams.
Bachelor’s degree and 4-7 years of relevant experience. (Substitutions may be allowed.)
