This is a supervisory position accountable for overseeing the work of docket clerks in scheduling cases in adjudicatory or administrative hearings. Employee supervision includes hire recommendations, training, planning and assigning work, performance assessment, coaching, and progressive discipline. Oversight of work requires the employee to have the knowledge and skills to perform, monitor, and review work.
In addition to those identified in the previous level: Knowledge of the principles of office management and supervision. Ability to interpret federal, state, and/or agency regulations and procedures. Ability to train, assign, and evaluate the work of staff. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgement and discretion.
High School diploma or equivalent and 2-4 years of related experience. (Substitutions may be allowed.)
