This is a supervisory position accountable for overseeing a security program assigned responsibility for protecting public property and equipment against loss or damage from theft, fire, vandalism, or other causes, and maintaining order and proper behavior of individuals and groups for a state facility. Develops security policies and procedures and oversees security technology.
In addition to those identified in the previous levels: Knowledge of facility security programs including their planning, implementation, and control. Knowledge of supervisory techniques and practices. Knowledge of technology equipment used in the security field. Ability to control and direct various sized groups of people and subdue suspects. Ability to plan, supervise, and evaluate security staff.
4 or more years of relevant experience.
